I’m Going To Tony Robbins Event in Sydney, Who’s With Me?

July 6, 2016 • Alex Chau

As you might know from my last blog post, I talk about how I will attend some personal development events in Sydney. Well guest what? I am! It’s unleash the power within event by Tony Robbins! Yes! It’s him!

Tony Robbins is a New York Times bestselling author, motivational speaker, peak performance life and business coach. Now if you don’t know anything about Tony, let me make this simple statement: he’s the guru of the gurus! Let me tell you why: Tony has been helping millions of people all around the world from my different walks of life, including the former president of The United States, Bill Clinton. Check the video on the news below:

I have been following Tony’s work for many years, since he first released his personal power program. And recently he released the book called “MONEY Master the Game: 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom’ that has also become a bestseller. Not only a highly successful life coach, business man, he’s also a philanthropist who has helped feeding millions of people in America.

The reason why I attend his event is that I have seen many transformations from my friends and the famous celebrities I know. Did you know that Hugh Jackman also asked for Tony’s advice? Yes! The wolverine still needs help!

I never walk on fire before but I’m both excited and nervous to be walking on hot burning coals at the first day of this UPW event. So excited and I can’t wait for it! I’m thinking of booking the diamond ticket to the event because this ticket class allows me to have one to one interaction with Tony Robbins in the diamond lounge. Right now the price of diamond ticket is at $3,795 (Australian Dollars) selling at website. I believe the price will increase when it comes closer to the event dates.

I will be sharing more on what I will learn at the event and the takeaway notes and key insights from Tony in the future post so make sure you come back to check my blog update. But for now, here are some great lessons that I learn from Tony in the past years.

#1. The story we tell ourselves controls our life.

When we don’t get what we want, we usually tell ourselves the story why we don’t have it. For most of us, the stories we tell ourselves are limiting our ability to take action and move forward. Let’s say you want to lose weight and the story you tell yourself is that being fat is normal, everyone around me is fat, or being is spiritual or you are big-boned. It doesn’t matter if these are true or not, but these will definitely not help you achieve your outcome.

If you are single right now, and you want to enter a meaningful relationship. But the stories you tell yourself is that “all the good ones are gone”, or “marriage is the death of a relationship” or “they will take advantage of me”, etc… These stories will definitely pull you away from attracting your soulmate.

So what’s the lesson here? It’s about becoming aware of the subconscious stories and limiting beliefs we have about the things we want, our goals and dreams. And if our stories are not supporting us from getting what we desire, it’s time to create a new story, a powerful one.

#2. Master your state

One of the reasons why I want to attend Tony’s event is that I want to instantly master my own state. Even though I am good at it, but I’m not great at it and I need more practice.

Why is state important? Well, have you ever got angry at someone, not because of what they did, but because of the lousy state that you were in? I have and I think each of us has been in that situation before. Therefore, you see that managing our emotional state is extremely crucial to help us develop a deep connection with others and  make us resourceful in solving the problems and challenges that we might have from time to time.

Like I said before, I will update whatever lesson that I will learn from Tony Robbins event in Sydney in the future post so be sure to like my FB page and stay connected.
